Binder Overview

A deep dive into the Binder's central hub — Inventory, Wish List, Set Inventory views, and Card Details.

The Inventory page at /Binders/Inventory is the master list of every card you track. It provides rapid filtering and auto-saving so you never lose progress.

Key features:

  • Filters — Narrow by Universe, Brand, Set, Subset, or text search. Results update instantly.
  • Auto-save — Quantity changes save automatically after a 350ms pause. No submit button needed.
  • Desktop view — Table rows with all quantities visible at a glance.
  • Mobile view — 4-card carousel with a bottom sheet for editing. Swipe to browse.

A summary widget shows total cards, sets tracked, row count, wanted items, and tradeable cards.

The Wish List at /Binders/WishList shows every card where Wanted quantity is greater than zero. It's your dedicated acquisition tracker.

  • Public notes — Add a note (max 100 characters) visible to other collectors. Useful for specifying which version you need.
  • Grouped by set — Cards are organised by set for easy browsing
  • Editable quantities — Change wanted counts or remove cards as you acquire them

The Set Inventory page (/Binders/SetInventory?setId=N) shows a complete imported checklist for any set. Two viewing modes:

  • Checklist View — Cards grouped by Subset (Base Set always first). Each row shows your Owned/Wanted/Trade counts alongside the card number, name, and variant info.
  • Parallel Run View — Select a variant name (e.g. "Gold Foil") to see every card in the set that has that parallel, making completion tracking across a single parallel easy.

Quick filters: All, Missing (Owned=0), Owned (Owned>0), Trade (ForTrade>0). The Show Parallels button loads sibling variants inline via AJAX for any base card.

A Set Stats widget shows completion percentage by category, most-owned cards, and most-wanted cards.

Clicking any card opens the /Binders/CardDetails/{id} page with comprehensive information:

Card Image
Front and back images with a flip animation. Images are served from Cloudflare R2.

Set, Brand, Universe, Group Key, Manufacturer, Card Number
Art & Metadata
Odds (e.g. 1:280), Card Tech (Holofoil, Canvas), Thickness (35pt), Item Type, Where To Get
Variants Table
Every known version of this card with Owned/Wanted/Trade inputs. Uses GroupKey to group base + parallel variants.

Below the variants table, Nearby Main Cards shows the 5 adjacent cards in the same subset for quick navigation.

The Binder hub at /Binders provides a side menu with these sections:

  • Home — Overview dashboard
  • Collections — Your Inventory (all tracked cards)
  • Wishlists — Your Wish List
  • Trade Partners — Find collectors with matching trade interests
  • Sets — Browse all sets by manufacturer
  • Universes — Manage your universe preferences

Sets are organised by Manufacturer first, then broken down into Subsets. The hierarchy is: Universe > Brand > Manufacturer > Set > Subset > Card > Variant.
